Faces Of Boston: Christine Thompson - Competitor.com

Faces Of Boston: Christine Thompson - Competitor.com: "I started running at the age of 12 and didn’t like it at first. It wasn’t until my freshman year of high school that I realized I was given a gift to run. I competed in both varsity cross country and track in high school, and I’ve had a love for running ever since. My current marathon PR is 3:21 at the Chicago Marathon, and my BQ race for this year was at the 2013 PF Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon (3:29:53). The last time I ran Boston was in 2012, and cheering for me on the side was my best friend, Lisa Persicke."
